17.2 – 2D Section & Elevation Symbols

Course ht Marker 4D

Course ht Marker 4D

Fantastic 2d symbol for showing brick coursing or just millimetres in elevation. As the course height marker moves up and down vertically in the elevation, the height text adjusts automatically

Two options for diplay – triangular pointer or simple line, text moveable to above or below the line via hotspots, course sizes can be set to mm instead of brick courses, brick courses can be customized – for bespoke size block work.

Height can be calculated from Project Zero, And reference level or the user pick a storey reference.

Note: For a ‘Linked’ Height marker that moves with the element and changes as the element changes, use the 4D Course Height Label

Storey Levels 4D

The storey level line object was invented before ArchiCAD even had in-built storey levels, but they are still in use today, because this object is better. It can be easily moved around the section or elevation, it can be adjusted on a per section basis to allow for differing floor levels and because it is an object, it can be controlled via layers and renovation filters.

All this, while still being linked to the storey settings. So if the storey changes, the object will immediately update. Also has advanced features like brick coursing display, linking to reference levels, multi-line display , masking fill for sections, Model view option line appearance for sketch elevations and rich text output.
